LONDON, Jan 29: Bolton dumped FA Cup holders Arsenal out of the tournament on Saturday but it was League One Brentford who pulled off the biggest shock of the fourth round by eliminating Sunderland.

An 84th-minute strike by Greece midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos gave Bolton a 1-0 victory that leaves Arsenal with the Champions League as their only hope of winning a trophy this season.

Dudley ‘DJ’ Campbell was the hero of Brentford’s 2-1 win over Sunderland, his superbly-taken winner coming with just over a minute left after Julio Arca had cancelled out his opening effort.

Campbell, 24, appears to revel in the FA Cup limelight, having joined Brentford after helping non-league Yeading into last season’s third round.

On Sunday, Manchester United completed a satisfying week of cup action when they won 3-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers to move into fifth round.

United, who reached the League Cup final in midweek, needed a replay to get past minor league Burton Albion in the third round but were always in control at Molineux.

Midfielder Kieran Richardson opened the scoring in the fifth minute and Louis Saha made it 2-0 just before halftime, both goals helped by some static defending.

United, with a full strength side, despite some unusual positional options, settled it in the 52nd-minute when Richardson headed his second.—Reuters
