KARACHI, Jan 29: The repairing of roads and footpaths in Saddar area was in full swing on Sunday after removal of encroachments. Special teams of the Saddar Town’s Municipal Administration were busy repairing roads and footpaths on Preedy Street, Mansfield Street, Mir Karam Ali Talpur Road, Dr Daudpota Road, Raja Gazanfar Ali Road, Zaibunnisa Street, Abdullah Haroon Road, Shahrah-i-Iraq, Aga Khan-Third Road and Regal Chowk.

They were installing cat’s-eyes, setting up zebra crossings at the junction of Preedi Street and Abdullah Haroon Road.

To improve traffic flow at the Regal Chowk, the width of the footpath was being shortened to widen the road.—PPI
