Challenge Cup

KARACHI, Jan 28: Data Steel were leading in the Challenge Cup bridge by mustering 58 Victory Points after three rounds at Nazimabad Club, Karachi Bridge Association (KBA) announced in a news release on Saturday.

Seven rounds of Swiss Movement would be played for the qualifying round. The top four teams would fight in the semis and finals on Sunday and non-qualifiers would play a Consolation Round.

The leaders were represented by Sultan Siddiqui, Pervez Mirza, Rashid Jafer, Rashidul Ghazi, Gulzar Bilal under the leadership of Tariq Rasheed Khan.

Fancied Candyland having Ziaullah Baig, Hamid, Khalid, Mubashir Puri and Muhammad Ismail are in second place with 56 VPs.—APP
