LAHORE: Spinners Sajid Khan and Zahid Mahmood have been included in Pakistan’s ongoing preparatory camp for their upcoming two-match Test tour against Sri Lanka.

Although both players aren’t a part of the national squad for the series, they have been picked by Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur and head coach Grant Bradburn — both part of the selection committee.

With Haroon Rasheed having quit as the head of the committee following the recent dissolution of the Najam Sethi-led Pakistan Cricket Board’s Management Committee, Arthur and Bradburn are currently handling the selection matters.

Haroon was also working as the director domestic cricket, with the position now occupied by Junaid Zia.

In another shuffle, former director international cricket Zakir Khan, who was already working on extension following his retirement, has been given the temporary charge to head the National Cricket Academy.

The post was previously occupied by Aizaz Said, another member of the now-dissolved interim Management Committee.
