PSMCL, Bannu shut plants

KARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd (PSMCL) has extended shutdown of its bike and car plants till July 15 due to persistent shortage of parts and accessories.

On June 19, the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regarding closure of its automobile and motorcycle plant from June 22 to July 8.

Meanwhile, Bannu Woollen Mills Ltd (BWML) also announced suspension of production activities from July 2-15.

In a stock filing, the company said the production activities would resume from July 16.
