LAHORE: The PML-N is likely to hold intra-party election this week, without voting for the top offices of the party.

According to a party source, the election will be held on Friday (tomorrow) at the party secretariat.

He says there will not be any change in terms of election on the party’s main slots, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif will continue as the president and the supreme leader of the PML-N, respectively.

Maryam Nawaz will also be elected unopposed as the party’s chief organiser, he adds.

He says that PM Shebaz’s son Hamza Shehbaz may be given the slot of party’s senior vice-president.

Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz held a meeting with the office-bearers of the PML-N women wing at Model Town. She asked them to get active and play their role in their respective constituencies.
