BAHAWALPUR: Prince Bahawal Khan Abbasi, a son of Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi, has announced quitting the Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

In a video message, Prince Bahawal Khan Abbasi announced his dissociation with the PTI and said that at the time of the creation of Pakistan, his great grandfather Nawab Muhammad Sadiq Khan Abbasi had merged the Bahawalpur State into Pakistan and its army into Pakistan Army.

He said keeping in view of the sacrifices of the Abbasi family for the country, he condemned the incidents of May 9 and had decided to quit the PTI.
