A SORRY SIGHT: It was pathetic to watch a group of people literally plundering the place when a well-known YouTuber and vlogger tried to help the poor by providing them with fruit at a price much lower than the market rate. The whole thing turned into a sort of open season for loot. People barged into the stall set up for the purpose, and grabbed everything they could, leaving nothing behind for the poor. It was a sorry sight that indicated the prevailing state of affairs.

JUSTICE SYSTEM: The state of the criminal justice system in the country is a matter much debated in society, but we tend to ignore the issue of overburdened prisons. This is a clear indication that the criminal justice is weak in terms of processing cases in a timely manner. As a result, the number of under trial prisoners continues to increase. The relevant authorities should sort out the issue.

TRAGIC DEATH: It was rather saddening to hear about the recent death of an electricity linesman. The incident happened allegedly owing to the negligence of one of the grid station officials, who, despite being aware of the maintenance work on an 1,100KV line, forgot to disconnect the line from the grid, resulting in the death of the linesman. The loss of the young individual is a big tragedy for the family. The matter deserves a full-scale inquiry.

INSTILLING CREATIVITY: Imagination is more important than knowledge, said Albert Einstein, and rightly so. Imagination is the most critical and elementary factor that leads minds to think creatively. Unfortunately, our education system is in a dire need of an overhauling, which might bring it to the path of creative learning. We must do away with the prevailing system which has become utterly obsolete. The rote culture will not take us anywhere.
