LAHORE: Young doctors on Thursday observed a strike at major government sector hospitals across Punjab to protest torture of a doctor at the Children’s Hospital, causing a great deal of inconvenience to patients.

They closed down OPDs of hospitals in the morning and stopped work at other wards.

The major protest was witnessed at the teaching hospitals of Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and in some hospitals of Rawalpindi.

The call was given by the Young Doctors Association Punjab.
