Furniture fair

LONDON, Jan 19: Pakistan will participate in the International Furniture Fair being held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, from Jan 22 to 25. Pakistan’s furniture exports to Britain increased more than 120 per cent from 3.718 million pounds in 2002 to 8.405 million pounds in 2004. The main items of furniture exported to Britain are made of solid wood and include tables, chairs, stools, video and audio racks and bedside tables.—APP
