Old enmity claims four lives in Dadu

DADU, Jan 17: Four people were killed and three others were injured in a clash near Sita Road on Tuesday. Armed men killed one Nooruddin Chandio, 40, in K.T. Ghallo in Dadu taluka on Tuesday. In retaliation, a group of people from K.T. Ghallo attacked Nindhi Sita village and shot dead three people.

The deceased were identified as Ghulam Qadir Solangi, 36, Ghulam Abbas Solangi, 32, Ghulam Mustafa Solangi, 40.

The injured are: Moharram, Maroof Soalngi and a minor boy, Ahmed Nawaz Khokhar.

The old feud between the groups has so far claimed eight lives.

Police patrolling has been intensified in the area to control further bloodshed.
