KHAR, Jan 16: Explosive device experts here on Monday found two unexploded bombs in the Damadola area of Bajaur Agency which had come under US air attack last week, officials said.

They said that a bomb disposable squad of the Frontier Corps along with a tribal elder, Malik Abdul Aziz, visited the bombing site in Damadola.

A source said that explosive experts recovered two bombs from the rubble of three houses, which were destroyed in the pre-dawn missile attack.

Four US planes targeted three houses in the area near the Afghan border on Friday, which killed 18 people and wounded six others.

Due to tension prevailing in the area, government officials visited the affected area for the first time since the US planes carried out the attack. The officials also collected parts of exploded missiles.

PROTEST CONTINUES: Tribesmen continued their protest for the third consecutive day on Monday against the US air strike and killing of 18 people in Bajuar Agency. All main roads, bazaars and markets remained closed in the area.

Angry tribesmen gathered in Mamadgut, near the Pak-Afghan border, to protest against the US aggression and killing of innocent people, sources said.

The protest meeting was addressed by Malik Sultan Wali, Malik Juma Khan Safi, Maulana Abdur Rashid and Malik Sultan Wali.

They said that the government had failed to provide security and protection from foreign aggression.

They said that despite installation of a radar system and deployment of troops the federal government had initially expressed ignorance over the US air attack.
