Published January 16, 2006

LAHORE, Jan 15: Only 18 overs were bowled on the first day of Patron’s Trophy Grade-I quadrangular series match between PTCL and Habib Bank at Multan Cricket Stadium on Sunday. The overcast conditions did not allow play to get under way after lunch. The umpires finally called off play at 4pm with PTCL having scored 58 for two.

Meanwhile, the first day of the match between PIA and National Bank at KRL Stadium in Rawalpindi was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of rain.
