DERA GHAZI KHAN: The police rescued a minor boy from a man’s custody and handed him over to his mother.

A woman complained to the police that her husband kicked her out of the home one month ago while keeping the custody of her four-year-old son, Nad-i-Ali, which she had from a previous marriage.

On Friday, she received a video from her husband showing him assaulting the child, which she forwarded to the police.

Regional Police Officer retired Capt Sajjad Hassan Khan took notice of the video and ordered the police to rescue the child from the possession of his stepfather within an hour and handed him over to the mother.

The RPO also met the woman and the child at his office and assured them of complete protection.
