Power failure hits Badin

BADIN, Jan 14: Badin faced a massive power breakdown on Saturday morning as all towns and villages of the district remained without electricity and water for over 16 hours. The failure occurred at 1:00am on early Saturday morning and could not be restored till 5:00pm.

A spokesman for the Hesco said the breakdown occurred due to heavy fog.

The prolonged power failure affected water supply to the city and other towns of the district.

People protested against the outage of power.
