Woman shot dead by husband

MANSEHRA, Jan 14: A woman was killed by her husband over a domestic dispute in village Ganda, while body of a man was found in village Thathi, about 37 kilometres from here, on Saturday. Both the incidents took place in the jurisdiction of Phulra police station in the upper Tanawal area.

According to police sources, Munir Khan shot dead his wife Tauzeem Bibi in the Ganda village over a minor dispute and fled.

The police registered a case on the report of Ayub, father of the deceased woman.

The police on the information of the people recovered the body of a 40-year-old man Mohammad Rafique from a deserted place near village Thathi.

The body was brought to the DHQ hospital Mansehra for post mortem.
