LAHORE: The Little Art, the Tinkers’ Collective will hold the second edition of Makers’ Mela on March 11 (Saturday) at Aangun Center for Learning and Culture, Model Town

The event promises to be a celebration of creativity, community, and fun for all ages. The festival will feature a variety of stalls, carefully curated by creative entrepreneurs, showcasing their artistic talents through jewelry, handmade crafts, and art. Food stalls will also be available, offering a wide range of delicious treats to satisfy your cravings.

In addition to the stalls, there will be an open mic for live performances and an array of carnival games and activities to keep both kids and adults entertained.

“Our teams will also be on hand to provide a safe and supervised environment to children to play and have fun while parents shop and socialise,” said one of the organisers.

“We are excited to bring together the community once again and provide a platform for creative entrepreneurs to showcase their unique talents,” he said.

The spring edition mela will take place on Saturday from 2pm to 9pm at the Aangun Center, Model Town.

exhibition: A weeklong exhibition of artworks by world-renowned calligrapher Tauseef Ahmad will open at Muse Art gallery on Friday. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Federal Minister Ayaz Sadiq and Prof Murtaza Jafari.

Tauseef learned the art from world-renowned calligrapher Sadiqain and has received many honours in the past three decades. The residences of Jaber Al-Sabah and other dignitaries are decorated with the calligraphy of Tauseef. He lives in Perth, Australia, where he was awarded the Australian Muslim Award for calligraphy artists. Tuseef introduced the art of calligraphy by cutting paper and adorning it with colours on the frame. He is also committed to the calligraphy of the entire Qur’an.
