LAHORE: The Gulberg police arrested a traffic warden and six of his friends at the Gaddafi Stadium for attempting to gain free admission to the venue to watch a PSL match.

Warden Munawar Hussain, Shaukat, Sharif, Shafqi, Kamran and others were among those arrested.

The FIR says that Munawar was putting pressure on the stadium workers to let them into the ground.

Senior police authorities learned of the situation and instructed the Gulberg police to arrest the warden for abusing his power.
