SCA beat MCA

PESHAWAR, Jan 9: Sarhad Cricket Academy (SCA) on Monday defeated visiting Margalla Academy (MCA) Islamabad by 47 runs in the second one-day of the three matches series played at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium.

SCA skipper Adil won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 210 in 39.1 overs.

Ishaq Afridi struck 37 runs with thehelp of four boundaries and a six, Muhammad Saleh made 37 off 52 balls with three boundaries, Khurshid Anwar (24), and Adil Amin (24), Hamad Dilshad (27) and Younis (17 not out) were the leading contributors.

MCA team bowled out for 163 in 38.2 overs. Usman Mehmood (47 4x4) and Habib Ullah (28) batted well for the losers.

Saleh and Khurshied took four wickets each for for 23 and 38 runs for SCA.

Summaries score: SCA 210 in 39.1 overs (Ishaq Afridi (37), Saleh (37); Zafar four-380; MCA 163 (Usman Mehmood (47); Saleh 4-23, Khurshid 4-38) for 38 runs.—APP
