KARACHI: Mare Angel Love is considered the best bet and may go all out to repeat her triumphant performance by winning the February Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting here at Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Having won her previous outing against Take Care by a whopping 12 lengths last week, Angel Love is pick of the lot which has seven acceptors in the four-and-a-half furlongs race under scale order III and IV.

However, she has to overcome a compound challenge from half-a-dozen opponents to make it two on the trot. Bay horse Mr On Job looks poised to follow the footsteps of Angel Love in the fourth and concluding race of the day.

As many as 10 horses will make their presence felt in the opening race under scale order VIII being run over four furlongs.

On present form, gelding Faisal Choice is expected to make amends by getting the better of other contenders to open his account.

Mare Basanti and bay horse Zayan look a good choice for the second and third place respectively on board.

If on job, dark bay mare Little Darling may pull off an upset.

Bay horse Raging Comet is on chance to clinch the second race under scale order VII to be contested over four furlongs.

He had finished off the frame in his maiden run of the year last week. Bay horse Epsom seems fancied to grab the second place among seven starters.

If tried, dark bay horse Abdullah Prince may create quite a stir under new owner.

As many as eight horses will battle it out for honours in the third race under scale order V and VI being run over four-and-a-half furlongs.

With a win under her belt, filly Fire Work is likely to shine in the third race.

She may be chased by mares Zahrish and Fiona for the next two places on board.

The first race starts at 2:30pm.
