KARACHI, Jan 8: Anthony Ricketts overcome compatriot David Palmer in straight games to win the title of the Australian Open squash championships at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre on Sunday. According to the details, Ricketts took 34 minutes to prevail over Palmer 11-9, 11-8, 11-9.
Ricketts enjoyed a sensational 2005, winning the British Open in England, the Tournament of Champions in New York and rising to a career high of No 3 in the men’s world rankings.—Agencies
