LAHORE: The Counter Terror­ism Department (CTD) on Tuesday arrested a suspected terrorist from Multan and recovered a suicide jacket from him.

According to details, the CTD Multan arrested a suspected member of proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Muham­mad Hammad alias Commando Musa and recovered a suicide vest, arms and ammunition.

The CTD claimed that the suspect was present in the area to execute a terrorist activity.

The Multan CTD registered a case and started investigation.

The recoveries include a suicide jacket, a pistol, six bullets and a flag of TTP.
