KARACHI: Two men were shot at and wounded by armed robbers over resistance in Surjani Town on Wednesday.

Area SHO Yasin Gujjar said that Abdul Azeem, 34, and Sharjeel, 32, were shot near ‘Tanki Stop’ in Lyari-36.

The injured citizens were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment, where their condition was said to be out of danger.

Meanwhile, Karachi police chief Javed Alam Odho on Wednesday inaugurated ‘command and control system’ at Soldier Bazaar police station with 100 CCTVs to curb street crimes.
