National snooker next month

KARACHI, Jan 5: Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) said on Thursday it would finalize within a couple of days the venue and dates for the 31st National snooker championship to be held later next month.

“The event will be staged either in Lahore or Karachi later next month after securing sponsorship,” PBSA chief Asghar Valika said.

Valika said 48 cueists from the four provinces would feature in the national event. Saleh Muhammad (NWFP) will defend his title.—APP
