Convincing victory for SGP

LAHORE, Jan 4: POF suffered a setback in PFF Football League Cup when they were held to a 0-0 draw by PTV at POF Complex at Wah. According to information provided by PFF on Wednesday national referee Shafaat Habib had a tough time in controlling the match as both the teams indulged in foul play and he had to show four yellow and two red cards.

Meanwhile in Group-A matches at Karachi’s CDGK Stadium, KESC outplayed Mauripur Baloch 5-0.Sohail struck twice in the 55th and 69th minute while other scorers were Shakir (8th min), Javed (16th min) and Moosa (41st min).

SGP outplayed SSGC 5-2 with Zahid scoring in the 10th and 51st minute. Amir Shaukat (55th min), Akhtar Ali (74th min), Farhan (85th min) made the game safe for SGP. The losers replied through Shahnawaz who converted spot-kicks in the 58th and 83rd minute.
