SHIKARPUR: Villager gunned down

SHIKARPUR, Jan 3: One villager was gunned down by outlaws in the Qaimuddin Tunio village on Monday night. Dilawar Tunio was shot dead by outlaws when the inmates of the house offered resistance. The culprits escaped from the scene.

The Golo Daro police have registered a case against five unidentified accused.

APCA: Local leaders of the All Pakistan Clerks Association relating to various departments continued their token hunger strike at the Lakhi Gate Tower Chowk on the third day on Tuesday following the pen down strike in their offices.

Abdul Wahab Kaghzi, Aslam Sheedi and 35 other clerical staff participated in the hunger strike.

The protesters demanded withdrawal of cases and transfer orders of government employees belonging to the Sindh Employees Alliance.
