PESHAWAR, Jan 30: Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Director-General (Development) Mohammad Arif on Monday directed immediate commissioning of Charsadda-Peshawar-Mardan fibre-optic link.

Speaking at a meeting held at the Telephone House to review the annual development programme, he said development works must be completed on time so that people could benefit from modern communication facilities. He also directed that work on Mardan-Mingora optic-fibre link must  be completed on priority basis.

The provision and upgradation of transmission media in the province was discussed, said a press release.
