KARACHI: Karachi police on Wednesday registered two more cases against PTI leader Shahbaz Gill over charges of using ‘inappropriate’ language against the former army chief and a sitting military officer.

A police officer, who wished not to be named, said the two FIRs had been registered against the PTI leader at Rizvia Society and Surjani Town police stations on complaint of private citizens.

Both cases have been registered under sections 500 (punishment for defamation), 505 (statements conducing to public mischief), 131 (abetting mutiny, or attempting to seduce a soldier, sailor or airman from his duty) and 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups, etc) of the Pakistan Penal Code and sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, added the officer.
