KASUR: Two unidentified men gunned down a policeman on Kutchery Road, in front of the Pattoki Judicial Complex on Sunday.

According to the police, Constable Waseem Shahzad of Jagowala village was posted in Lahore.

On Sunday, Shahzad, wearing his police uniform, was returning home from Lahore on his motorcycle, when two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on him in front of the Pattoki Judicial Complex, and escaped leaving him dead on the spot.

Shahzad was son of a retired police constable, Bashir.

Police shifted the body to the tehsil headquarters hospital for autopsy and started looking into the matter.
