KARACHI: PIA scouts’ selection

KARACHI, Jan 1: The selection camp for the Weekly All-Pakistan President’s Gold Medal was held at PIA training centre under the flag of PIA scouts, said a statement here on Sunday. Addressing the concluding ceremony, Sindh Scouts Commissioner Ghazanfar Mashkoor said that the scouts camps were providing excellent opportunity for enhancing essential cultural and academic knowledge as well as brotherhood among the nation’s youth.

Hamza Anwar, Ahad Iqbal and Shafqat Sheraz were nominated for President of Pakistan Gold Medal Award, Samiullah Khan and Muhammad Zohaib for Chief Commissioner Pakistan’s Award, Muhammad Aqib for Chief Scout PIA Award, Bilal Rafeeq, Kamran Alam, Abdul Majeed Bashir and Waseem Qureshi were nominated for Provincial Commissioner Award. —APP
