KHUZDAR: Two people were seriously injured in a grenade attack near a bridge in Khuzdar on Thursday.
Police said unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade close to a security check-post near Khatan Bridge, and managed to flee from the scene.
Soon after the explosion, police rushed to the site and shifted the injured to the district’s hospital.
Security forces launched a search operation in the area to arrest the culprits behind the attack.
