PTV in final

LAHORE, Dec 31: Four wickets by Yasir Ishfaq helped PTV enter the final of Patron’s Trophy Grade-II beating KESC by a big margin of 184 runs at Multan Stadium on Saturday.

PTV set a winning target of 270 for KESC by scoring 174 in the second innings and adding 96 runs lead on the first innings.

But Yasir conceded 37 runs in 11 overs to bowl out KESC for a modest total of 86 in 32.1 overs to win.

PTV (1st innings) 218 in 72.2 overs (Suleman Khan 59, Fayyaz Ahmed 44; Nauman Alvi 4-32).And 174 in 42.2 overs (Kashif Naved 85; Saeed Khan 5-49, Sharif Asadullah 4-41).

KESC 1st innings 122 in 52.4 overs (Sarfraz Ahmed 43; Umer Hassan 6-40). And 86 in 32.1 overs (Sarfraz Ahmed not out 40; Yasir Ishfaq 4-37).
