DERA GHAZI KHAN: The anti-polio campaign has been postponed in all union councils of Rojhan tehsil in view of the deteriorating law and order situation.

The campaign was scheduled to kick off from Monday. The new schedule is yet to be announced.

Owning to the postponement of the campaign, more than 100,000 children will be deprived of the vaccine, according to the sources in the health department.

Deputy District Health Officer Rajanpur Dr Younis said the campaign had been postponed in Rojhan tehsil due to security reasons.

It merits mentioning that a couple of days ago, ring leader of Lound gang Khuda Bakhsh Lound was shot dead during a police encounter in riverine area.
