11kg heroin seized from passenger

LAHORE, Dec 31: A passenger was arrested for trying to smuggle 11kg heroin at the airport here on Saturday. Officials said that on a tip-off the Anti-Narcotics Force checked the luggage of Yousaf, who was to board a Gulf-bound flight (GA-433), and recovered heroin from it.

A case has been registered against the accused.

Meanwhile, the ANF arrested Khalid Shakeel, alias Dr Khalid, of Multan and recovered 50kg hashish from his possession.
