LAHORE: A minor boy was allegedly kidnapped and murdered in Chuhng area here on Sunday.

Unidentified suspect (s) had dumped the body of Zeshan Ali (3) in a local graveyard. A passerby alerted the police when he spotted the body.

A police official said the boy had gone missing last Saturday evening when he was playing in the street outside his house at Garwal village.

He said his parents searched him everywhere in the locality but failed and then reported the matter to the police.

Apparently, it seemed that the boy was allegedly strangled by the suspects who were yet to be identified.

He said there were also chances that the boy was sodomized and then murdered by the suspect (s).

The police and forensic experts were working on the heinous crime incident, the official said adding that they were also trying to get help from the nearby CCTV cameras to trace the suspected killer (s).
