Two killed during robberies

KHAIRPUR, Dec 31: Two people were killed during separate robbery incidents on Saturday. About eight armed men attacked the Miandad Joyo village in the jurisdiction of Pir-jo-Goth police station and entered the house of Sindh reserve police head constable Shafi Mohammad Joyo, 32, on Saturday morning.

The gunmen held inmates of the house hostage and killed constable Joyo on offering resistance.

The killers managed to flee from the scene.

In another incident, seven armed men shot dead Jalal Mangnejo in a village when he offered resistance.
