Karafilm Festival comes to Capital

ISLAMABAD, Dec 31: Dawn Group of Newspapers, in collaboration with Karafilm Society, is organizing the Select Screening of the 5th Karafilm festival on January 7 and 8 at the NIC Auditorium, Islamabad.

Dawn was the official print media sponsor for the fifth Karafilm Festival — the international film festival, held in Karachi from December 1 to 11, 2005 with 150 features, documentaries and shorts from over 30 countries including India, Iran, Italy, UK, US, France, Germany, etc.

The Karafilm Festival is on tour to Islamabad and will screen some fo the award winning films like Iqbal, Mein Ne Gandhi Ko Nahin Maara, Pride and Prejudice, Gilaneh and Before I Go.
