Paramedic shot dead

SAHIWAL: Two gunmen shot dead a Sahiwal Teaching Hospital paramedic late Thursday night near village 86/9-L.

Muhammad Ahmed, of village 85/9-L, was riding a motorcycle when two gunmen signalled him to stop near 85/9-L, but he did not, prompting them to shoot at and kill him.

On the complaint of Noor Hasan, the deceased’s brother, the Ghala Mandi police filed a murder FIR against two persons.

In village Khan Kamal, 66/4-R, six dacoits looted a house, injured a man for resistance, and stole Rs300,000, gold ornaments, mobile phones and prize bonds.

A man was killed by a gang of six dacoits in Chichawatni last week.

The dacoits broke into the house of Nawab Ali Akbar. They injured Akram for resistance.
