Mian Aamir elected PWF president

LAHORE, Dec 30: Mian Aamir Mahmood and Hafiz Imran Butt were elected as president and secretary of the Pakistan Weightlifting Federation (PWF) for a term of four years.

Aamir is the Lahore district Nazim while Imran, a former international weightlifter is a Wapda employee.

Representatives of all four provinces, Islamabad, Army, Railways, Higher Education Commission, Wapda, Technical Members Association, Coaches Association and a female member attended the meeting.

Office-bearers.

President: Mian Aamir Mahmood (Lahore).

SVP: Muzaffar A Qureshi (Islamabad).

VPS: Lt. Col. Qaisar Mustafa (Army), Muhammad Arif (Railways),

Haji Ismail Khan (Balochistan).

General secretary: Hafiz Imran Butt (Wapda).

Associate secretary: Ch. Muhammad Amin (Punjab).

Treasurer: Ch M. Aslam (coaches).
