LAHORE: Temur Nadeem’s six goals for Remounts while Abdul Rehman Monnoo’s brace for Diamond Paints led the teams to the semi-finals of the Coca-Cola Aibak Polo Cup here at the Lahore Polo Club ground on Sunday.

Remounts routed Salam Polo 10-4½ courtesy Temur and four goals by Shahzad.

Diamond Paints edged out Platinum Homes 3-2½ in a nail-biting fixture.

Ahmed Ali Tiwana was the other scorer besides Abdul Rehman. Amirreza Behboudi scored twice for the losing side, which also had a half-goal handicap advantage but they couldn’t capitalise on it.

Earlier, Master Paints Black defeated Guard Rice 9-6½ thanks to Manuel Carranza’s double hat-trick.
