She further said that she then sent her brother to school, who fired gunshots at the school gate before entering inside. Upon entering inside, the suspect started firing gunshots in the air when the teaching staff was busy taking classes.

She said that the students started screaming in panic and later the suspect left. The headmistress told Dawn that Rimsha had been working as an alternate maid in the school but she had been asked not to come to school due to her attitude. However, she continued visiting the school. On Tuesday, she came to school and used abusive language and then sent her brother who created panic.

Police said that a case had been registered under section 7-Anti Terrorism Act (ATA) against the suspect who was yet to be arrested by the police.
