PESHAWAR: Results of Medical Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) for all public and private medical and dental colleges held on Sunday, will be announced by the Pakistan Medical Commission on Nov 17.

A total of 46,230 students, including 27,871 male and 18,359 female appeared in tests in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Kohat, Malakand, Swat, Swabi, Mardan, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan, a press release said.

Secretary Higher Education Department Mohammad Daud Khan said that due to the record increase in the number of students this year, holding the test across the province was a big challenge for KMU, ETEA and the provincial government but it was met by the collaborative efforts of the concerned institutions which deserved applause for holding of tests in a peaceful manner.
