TOBA TEK SINGH: A girl student has been selected to perform as Faisalabad’s honorary deputy commissioner for one day on Monday.

Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheikh had invited applications from distinction holders of matriculation and also having extraordinary performance in other fields. Marva Basra was selected after shortlisting through interviews.

A press release issued on Sunday said she obtained 1,072 marks in matriculation and also got first position all over Punjab in paintings competition and first position in speech competition at district level.

As an honorary DC she will visit her government model girls higher secondary school at Peoples Colony No 1 where she will preside over official meetings and also visit other areas.
