Indian netball team arrives

ISLAMABAD, Dec 28: An Indian women’s netball team comprising 14 players and six officials arrived in Lahore via Wagha Border on Wednesday, says a Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) press release.

The team will play a three-match series against Pakistan with the opening game at the Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad on Friday. Two other matches will be held in Lahore (Jan 1) and Hyderabad (Jan 4).

Team: India: Dr. PS Sharma (chef de mission), Mrs Gurchran Kaur (manager), Binoda Nand Jha (media manager), Rajeev Kumar (coach), Shi Suresh Chand (assistant coach), Rughvir Sharan (assistant manager), Ibrahim Khan (umpire), Pancgali Tatke, Latika Mittal, Navneer Kaur, Amndeep Kaur, Balwinder Kaur Anand, Kanchan Saharsrabude, Shikha Butt, Deepkia Sachdeva, Monalisa, Monika, PP Permeswari, Rubia Jan, Issac Jan, Deepali Bisht (players).

Pakistan: Quratual An, Naila Farhat, Aisha, Bera Chaudhry, Mahreen, Sadia, Sherish, Huma Kiran, Shazia, Ume Liala, Humaira Huma, Sidra, Saima Sarwar (players), Maqbool Ahmed (coach), Tahir Ikram (manager), Asif Rajar (umpire).
