Asif grabs honours

LAHORE, Dec 26: Muhammad Asif of Railways won the Champions of Hills cycle race held from Rawalpindi to Murree on Sunday. Asif clocked two hours 26.8 seconds to win the 60km race to earn Rs 15,000.

Abdul Ahad of Sui Southern Gas Company was runner-up. He received Rs 10,000.

Malik M Bashir (Wapda) claimed third position and was honoured with Rs 7,000.

Asif Ali (Railways) and Asmat Ali (Army)came fourth and fifth to pocket Rs 5,000 and Rs 4,000, followed by Naeem Ahmad (SSGC) who received Rs 3,000.
