KOHAT, Dec 26: The nazim of union council Nasratkhel, Arif advocate, has been elected unopposed for the slot of district naib nazim, according to unofficial result here.
The nazims of Kohat Urban-III and Shakardarra union councils have filed nomination papers to contest the election for tehsil naib nazim.
Arif advocate was unanimously elected district naib nazim through a draw at a meeting attended by all the union council nazims a month back. Therefore, no other candidate filed nomination papers for the slot and he was declared elected unopposed.
