KASUR: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad has been selected as the ‘Distinguished National Professor’ by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad.

According to the HEC, the recipient of this title makes significant contribution to the education vision of the university as well as to the progress and development of the community and the country.

Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad thanked the UVAS faculty, staff and especially his mentor Prof Dr Manzoor Ahmad for their support. He said that HEC had recognised UVAS for the DNP title for the first time.

SEMINAR: The Buffalo Research Institute, Pattoki, in collaboration with UVAS Department of Dairy Technology under the project “capacity building of dairy farmers and industry stakeholders on milk value chain arranged a seminar at the Ravi Campus.

More than 80 progressive/small dairy farmers attended the seminar from different regions of Pakistan such as Jhang, Sargodha, Chunian, Okara and Charsadda.
