KARACHI, Dec 26: Six vessels carrying lube oil, coal and machinery are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was relatively slow owing to fall in arrivals. As a result, four ships, Isle Wuff, to unload and load containers, Thor Jupiter, to offload urea, Swat to unload crude oil and Sagging to offload general cargo were berthed after the departure of eight.

The ships which departed included Eax Sanctity, E.O.S-1, Dagat Blue, Elli, Ilse Wuff, PAC Antlia, Aso and Rambler, while Spart Capella, Ever Guide and Meng Hai are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Owing to larger handling of liquid tonnage, the total tonnage rose to 0.163m tons comprising 12,700 tons of export cargo and 0.150m tons of import tonnage including 65,334 tons of liquid cargo and 19,166 tons of urea.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Chem Road Mega, with 1,000 tons of lube oil, APL Jeddah, Kota Waris and Corin Thaikos, with containers, Emerald, with 40,501 tons of coal and Heng Tai, with machinery.
