LOWER DIR: Members of the Young Doctors Association on Saturday closed the outpatient department at the district headquarters hospital here and boycotted duty to protest what they called privatisation of the health sector in the province.

Association district president Dr Rafiullah told reporters that the government had privatised 58 hospitals in the province causing unrest among doctors.

He flayed the dismissal of LRH medical officer Dr Kiramatullah and Provincial Health Services Academy director Dr Sahib Gul and demanded their immediate restoration.
