KARACHI, Dec 23: Talented HBL left arm spinner Abdur Rehman produced career best figures to spin out Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd (SNGPL) for 149 in their first innings on the second day in their Patrons Cricket Trophy Grade-I match at UBL Sports Complex ground Friday.

Sialkot-born Rehman, who grabbed a match haul of 11 wickets against Pakistan Customs in the previous match, captured career-best eight wickets for 53 runs in 25.5 overs as SNGPL crashed to a modest total.

By draw of stumps in the four-day match, HBL were 31 for the loss of one wicket.

Taufeeq Umar (14) and Aftab Khan (12) were at the crease at the close.

HBL are now enjoying an overall lead of 156-run with nine wickets in hand.

The 26-year-old Rehman produced a deadly spell in post lunch session by picking six wickets for 33 runs in an unchanged 12.5 overs to cause the slide in SNGPL.

Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 260 for eight, HBL added 14 runs before being dismissed for 274 in their first outing.

Opener Sohail Idrees (48) top-scored with seven fours and Arsalan Mir contributed 36 with six hits to the ropes for SNGPL.
